These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the YapThreads website, online store, products, and related services. Throughout these Terms, “YapThreads,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to YapThreads. “You” and “your” refer to the customer, visitor, or other user of our website.

By visiting our website, submitting an order, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies incorporated into them, including our Refund and Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the website or purchase products from us.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction to use this website or place an order. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the website only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Online Store

Our online store is hosted through Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to offer and sell our products.

Your use of Shopify-supported features may also be subject to Shopify’s applicable terms and policies.

3. Products and Made-to-Order Fulfillment

Many YapThreads products are made to order and produced by third-party fulfillment providers after an order is submitted.

Because products are made specifically for each order:

Production may begin shortly after purchase.
Changes and cancellations may not be possible once production begins.
Returns and exchanges for incorrect sizes, incorrect colors, or changes of mind are not accepted unless required by applicable law.
Minor differences in color, print placement, texture, or appearance may occur because of screen settings, garment construction, and the production method used.

Product images and mockups are intended to represent the item as accurately as reasonably possible. However, we cannot guarantee that every device will display colors with complete accuracy.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, sizing information, colors, quantities, and shipping details before completing an order.

4. Product Availability

Products, colors, sizes, and other variants are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, change available variants, or cancel unavailable items at any time.

If we cannot fulfill an item after accepting payment, we will notify you and issue an appropriate refund for the unfulfilled item.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Charges

Prices may change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Applicable shipping charges, discounts, sales taxes, and other required charges will be displayed during checkout before the order is completed.

You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country unless applicable law states otherwise.

6. Payments

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize us and our payment processors to charge the total amount shown at checkout.

Only payment methods currently displayed and enabled at checkout are accepted. The availability of a particular payment method is not guaranteed.

We may cancel or place an order on hold if payment cannot be verified, is declined, appears unauthorized, or is associated with suspected fraud.

7. Orders and Acceptance

An order confirmation means that we have received your order. It does not guarantee final acceptance or fulfillment.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

Product or variant unavailability
Pricing or product-information errors
Payment problems
Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
Shipping restrictions
Violations of these Terms
Orders that appear intended for unauthorized resale

If we cancel a paid order, we will issue a refund to the original payment method as required by law.

8. Order Changes and Cancellations

We will try to accommodate the request, but we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once the order has entered production. Product designs generally cannot be changed after production begins, and address changes may no longer be possible.

Canceling or changing an order through another platform or account interface does not guarantee that production has been stopped.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Orders may be produced, packaged, and shipped by third-party fulfillment providers. Products within the same order may be fulfilled separately and arrive in multiple packages.

Production and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Additional information is available in our Shipping Policy.

If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will notify you and provide the option to consent to the delay or cancel the affected unshipped merchandise for a refund, as required by applicable law.

Risk of loss and title pass as provided by applicable law and the shipping terms associated with your order.

10. Returns, Reprints, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, reprints, and refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy.

Because products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for:

Ordering the wrong size or color
Changes of mind
Buyer’s remorse
Personal preference
Minor characteristics inherent to the printing or decoration method

Verified damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect products may qualify for a replacement or refund when reported within the required timeframe with appropriate evidence.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights provided by applicable law.

11. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions, discount codes, and free-shipping offers may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, expiration dates, product exclusions, order minimums, or geographic restrictions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Promotions cannot be combined.
Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Taxes and excluded charges do not count toward promotional thresholds.
We may cancel or correct promotions affected by errors, abuse, or unauthorized use.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content—including the YapThreads name, logos, designs, graphics, product artwork, photographs, videos, text, page layouts, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to YapThreads and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, display, publish, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any associated artwork, design, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property.

13. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, social-media tag, or other content, you represent that:

You own or have permission to submit it.
It does not violate another person’s rights.
It is accurate and not misleading.
It does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or malicious material.

You grant YapThreads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display submitted content for store, marketing, and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

14. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website or its content to:

Violate any law or regulation
Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Transmit malicious code
Attempt unauthorized access to the website or another account
Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit store content
Interfere with website security or operation
Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against another person
Place fraudulent orders or misuse promotions

We may suspend or terminate access for prohibited activity.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, fulfillment providers, carriers, analytics providers, and social-media platforms.

We are not responsible for the independent content, practices, availability, or policies of third-party websites or services. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Errors and Omissions

Occasionally, the website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions involving product descriptions, prices, promotions, shipping charges, delivery estimates, or availability.

We may correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders. If a correction materially changes an order you already placed, we will contact you and provide any options required by law.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that access will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YapThreads and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, products, or services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

19. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold YapThreads harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that threatens the store, customers, or service providers.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions—will remain effective.

21. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the policies referenced in them constitute the entire agreement between you and YapThreads concerning use of the store and supersede prior communications concerning that subject.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section prevents consumers from exercising rights that cannot be waived under the laws applicable to them.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes become effective when posted with a revised “Last updated” date, unless applicable law requires additional notice.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
